A treat in hand is worth 2 cats ...

Bujang and Toro became much closer friends today I am glad to say. Bujang is no longer nervous when Toro climbs onto his box with him in it. They actually played 'catch the paw' - in which Toro playfully puts his paw into the opening of the box and Bujang bats at it. No one snarled at the other. Then to my amazement they actually shared their treat tonight. Greedy Bujang swallowed his treat and saw that Toro still had his. Bujang sauntered in and began to 'share'. Usually Toro would sit quite still at this point and allow Bujang to do what he wanted but tonight they ate the treat quite amicably - together. Hurray! I think the end is in sight. I hope that the end is in sight and the both of them would exist companionably together. Akira? Well, she didn't like the treat and so left it for the two boys. :)) She still thinks Toro is worse than dust under her dainty paws. :)

  2. Yah lor...I wonder where he got this from. Not from me surely. When he was 6 weeks he was a really fiercesome kitten, always biting and clawing. Now not so much :))He sometimes acts like a big brother and sometimes like the Godfather..hahaha

  4. Woah. He has some major sucking up to do to both cats. I think he overstepped his bounds with Bujang. Bujang was really mad and slapped him 3 or 4 times. They had a staring incident and Toro tried to oust Bujang from his roost. Silly boy Toro! All that good work unravelled.
