Megat's test results

Eprex 2000 in syringes...

More tests? Hrumph!!

We finally got the Eprex 2000 and the nurse had put them in syringes for us. He needs one a week and the vet said it is much easier than doing the sub q as the needle is finer. He would get his first one tomorrow as I think I would need Cousin R to help me still. Nowadays he gets very vocal when we have to do the sub q once a week and would protest. But after a minute, he would quieten down. I think the Eprex should not be as uncomfortable for him.
I had made an appointment with Dr FP at ARC balestier next Friday for an ultra sound. This morning I got his urine sample to the vet and she said there were still white blood cells in his urine. She further said that this was usually a sign of swelling in one of his organs. So it seems it is best that he gets an ultra sound. So next Friday we would make our way to Balestier once again. They may also do a blood test or urine test. For a 12-year old, he sure has a lot to get through. we can only hope for the best.
