Wild Bunch Under Attack

This is the 'terror kitty' that had been scaring the wild bunch. It is a new abandonee and but has the bravado of a gangster. It had been seen trying to muscle in on FatBoy's territory and had scared off Putih from her usual space. The auntie complained that because of this new kitty, Putih was now not to be found at her usual roost for dinner but Putih had taken to sitting much farther than usual and therefore more vulnerable to strangers and strange elements. However if this kitty was not about, Putih could be found at her usual place.

The problem with this kitty is he is an infrequent visitor at dinner and we have not been able to befriend him. I understand that he may be frightened and therefore he had been crying and wailing and picking fights, creating a lot of chaos and unhappiness. Once he realises that food is plentiful and there is really no need to fight for it, he may calm down enough for us to catch him for sterilisation.

The auntie said that this cat was abandoned by the owner of Bujang's frequent watchers and this woman had actually told her that she had put her kitty out!! The auntie had told her that because of her irresponsible action, the Wild Bunch is now living in uncertainty and threat. She advised the woman to take back her cat. I do not know the truth of the matter and as I am not a good mediator, I might have to get some help in this. I would probably have to put the CWS flyer about letting pet cats roam and abandoning them, around my area.

For the present, Minah is the only one that has not been scared by the gangster kitty...
Putih has had to live her life around much uncertainty with one re-settled black kitty (sterilised) in her area and now the new abandonee. The re-settled kitty and Putih had reached some kind of understanding and truce but the abandonee is just too much for Putih's comfort.
Even FatBoy has been threatened and of course FatBoy's philosophy is RUN first, then hide. Sometimes he would posture and yell back but he has never fought with any newcomer, even when they try to muscle in on his food. The auntie is most upset about this as FatBoy is her favourite.

How about putting Bach Flower Aggression granules in his food to calm him down. Loss & Mourning is just as good since he got dumped.
Usually I start with 5 granules and then increase if nec. It works on some cats and not on others. Once cat is sterilised, he shd calm down in a couple of weeks.

  2. How about trapping terror kitty for sterilisation? Neutering will tone down his raging wild hormones a bit.
