Sunday Quiet

It is a strange Sunday with only just the 3 kitties.
Bujang has continued to patrol the house looking for Megat. I explained that Megat is now with Totoro but he still meows loudly just in case Megat was hiding somewhere and did not hear the breakfast plates and tins being opened. It would take Bujang some time still as he is the BOSS of the house and Bujang likes a neat house with firm routines.

He would only stop looking when he naps. I am thankful he naps quite often here.

The other kitties looked for him all of yesterday but they seem to have settled down to Sunday routines.
Tanaka having a Sunday morning nap. He is going to see Dr Lalani next week as he hurt his hind leg a little when he was jumping down from the top of the night cages. He seemed to walk ok but I want to be sure as he loves running and jumping so much and it would be a pity if he was unable to continue because I did not take care of it for him.
I am sharpening my claws for the orange boy kitty. 'Just watch it Tanaka'

I am trying to keep the routines similar for the kitties but it did not stop me from putting out 4 places instead of just 3!

I have given away Megat's Hartmann's and his kidney supplements to other caregivers for the community cats. Our own community cats here are still young and very healthy so they have no need for them.

I want to thank everyone for their kindness in coming to see us for the last two days and I hope to be able to get back to their blogs to thank them.

But for today we are taking it slow and easy.

Dear Megat, we hope you are having an Easy Peasy Sunday where you are.

  1. We loved reading your post, San and Amigos. It is always so strange when a familiar presence s no longer there. We are sure that Megat is happy to have found Toro-Chan at the Bridge, and both are looking down on all of you with smiles and purrs.

Tanaka-Chan, I hope that your leg will heal very soon. Tommy says he sympathises as he sometimes has leg problems too.

    Purrs,
The Chans (and the rest of the gang too)

  2. It breaks my heart when there is a loss in a feline family and the other members grieve. I am so glad that you explained to them and I know you will explain again several more days so that they can believe that their Megat will stay where he is until we all catch up with him and have a big BIG family; all of our animals and us, the ones who loved and cared for them. What a joy that will be!

  3. It is sad to see that dear Megat is no longer here. I do wish you all and San hugs to get through this time. Meow, Jessica

  4. It makes us so sad to see your other kitties wonder about the loss of sweet Megat. Moosey looked for Sammy for quite some time after Sammy passed away. We send purrs and prayers and love to you all.

  5. Megat will be watching over you as you all adjust to his absence. Your cats are lovely, they could not be in a nicer home. It is clear how much you love them and also the Community Cats. We love the Community Cats projects and wish more countries would take this up.

Bach Flower Loss & Mourning is quite good. I give L&M to Jerri when Ben died and to Anne when Frank died. They were bonded pairs who slept in each other arms.
