Easy Peasy Sunday

It's not so Easy Peasy today as the day opened with rain and now more rain. It's dark and gloomy like a day in December. It's very quiet out. So we thought its good just to have some warm pictures of Ms Akira :)

Ms Akira returned from her osteopath Dr Lalani in good cheer and stuck out her tongue at bone ache and muscle pains. She didn't have to go for any more appointments this year and needs only to be adjusted quarterly. So her next appointment will be in February 2014.  YAY!!

She rested intermittently near me, on the couch. She had done this only once or twice before when Megat was with us but yesterday she rested for some time with us. I guess she is getting used to the idea that she would be safe from being chased. ( Tanaka was in the room)

Of cos she was also vigilant and would peer over the pillow to see who was about.

She was much more relaxed. Dr Lalani says that her cranium feels fine and her energy is up. He had drained a gland yesterday and he felt she should be well on her way of becoming her real self.

She rested here and had a nap. Of course her grooming issues have not stopped but considerably lessened. The bald patches now have some hair but she continues to worry them so after many months, it's still some hair. The underside if her limbs are rather bald and of course her tummy as well. But they do not have angry welts nor do they have scabs. Possibly this is the best we can hope for and as long as there are no cuts and bruises, this may be the best that she can do.
She is also rounder and her fur is better and softer as well. So all in all Ms Akira us doing very well indeed and the idea of that cheers me up considerably in this very dark Sunday.

Of course Ms Akira is always under the watchful eye if her little brother Tanaka. We have yet to be able to persuade him to relax the vigilance.

  4. Such wonderful news. Our Kona has kept her tummy bald for almost 17 years now, we're pretty sure it's a lifestyle preference! We can tell Ms Akira is plumper, and she looks happy.
